BNYA Privacy Policy — Summary

BNYA is an educational platform for families. This summary explains, in brief, how we handle your data — the full policy has the details.

- What we collect: account details you provide (name, email, phone, wilaya/city, socio-professional category, username), the child profiles a parent creates (child's name, nickname, school level, avatar), images you upload, and your learning activity (courses, challenges, progress, rankings).
- Why: to create and secure your account, run the educational features, personalise your child's experience, and send you notifications.
- Children: child profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not show advertising to children, and we never sell anyone's personal data.
- Sharing: we use Google Firebase to deliver notifications; otherwise we only share data where needed to run the service or where the law requires it.
- Your rights: you can view, correct, or delete your data at any time from within the app or by contacting us at google@dz-youngcreators.com.

Please read the full policy for complete details.

BNYA — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 23 July 2026

1. Who we are
BNYA ("BNYA", "we", "us", or "our") provides an educational platform for children and their parents, available as a mobile application and at https://app.bnya.dz. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.

2. Scope
This policy applies to the BNYA mobile application and related online services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account and using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

3. Information we collect

a. Account information (parent/guardian). When you register, we collect your first name, last name, family/household name, email address, phone number, wilaya (province) and city, your socio-professional category, and the username and password you choose. We use a one-time verification code (OTP) to secure sign-in.

b. Children's information. A parent or guardian can create profiles for their children. For each child we collect the child's first and last name, a nickname (pseudo), school level, and an optional profile picture. This information is provided by the parent/guardian, who is responsible for it and can edit or delete it at any time.

c. Content you provide. Images you choose from your device's camera or gallery for profile pictures and for the gallery/"productions" area.

d. Learning activity. Data generated as the Service is used — courses followed, challenges, progress, trophies, calendar events, and rankings.
messaging token. Our servers may also record standard technical data such as app version, device type, and connection information for security and to operate the Service.

f. What we do NOT collect. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics/tracking tools, we do not collect advertising identifiers, and we do not collect precise (GPS) location — only the wilaya and city you enter yourself.

4. How we use your information
We use the information to: create, authenticate and secure accounts; provide and operate the educational features; create and manage child profiles at a parent's request; personalise the experience and display progress and rankings; send you notifications about activities and updates; provide support; maintain the safety and security of the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

5. Children's privacy
BNYA is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Child profiles are created and controlled by the parent/guardian, who provides the child's information and consents to its processing. We do not knowingly allow children to register their own accounts without a parent, we do not show behavioural advertising to children, and we do not sell or rent children's personal information. A parent/guardian may review, correct, or delete their child's information at any time (see Section 9).

6. Notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us operate the Service — in particular Google (Firebase) for notifications and app configuration, and our hosting provider for the BNYA servers — who may process data only on our instructions;
- where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

8. Data storage and security
Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and authentication tokens are kept in your device's secure storage. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.

9. Your rights and choices
You can view and update most information directly in the app. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — and that of a child you manage — from within the app, through the data-request tools on https://app.bnya.dz, or by contacting us at google@dz-youngcreators.com. You may delete your account, which removes the associated profiles.

10. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law.

11. Applicable law
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including Algeria's Law No. 18-07 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data. Where other laws apply to you, we honour the rights those laws grant.

12. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party websites or services (for example, an external browser page). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.

14. Contact us
